| Description: | Margaret D. Lowman discusses her work in the treetop canopies of rain forests around the world. Lowman, aka Canopy Meg, is internationally recognized for her work in forest canopy ecology. She has conducted research in the three major rain forest regions--Africa, Australia/Asia, and the Neotropics. Lowman uses ropes, walkways, hot air balloons, and construction cranes to take part in long-term rain forest studies and to map forest canopies for biodiversity.
